Waterproofing packages for builders, developers and new residential and commercial construction.

On a new build, waterproofing sits between other trades and has to be delivered on time, in the right sequence and to the right detail — because everything that follows covers it up. Diamond Seal Waterproofing works with builders, developers and construction companies across Sydney on waterproofing for new residential and commercial projects.
Getting waterproofing right during construction is far cheaper than defect rectification after handover. Once tiles, screed, landscaping or backfill are in place, correcting a membrane means undoing completed work — and dealing with the client relationship that comes with it.
Waterproofing on a new build is a sequencing problem as much as a technical one. Substrates need to be complete and dry enough, penetrations need to be in place before the membrane goes down, curing time has to fit the program, and the membrane needs protecting from following trades.
When those constraints are planned into the program rather than discovered on site, the work goes in cleanly and the trades behind it are not held up.
Scheduling waterproofing around screeding, plumbing rough-in, tiling and other trades so the sequence works.
Confirming substrates, penetrations, falls and set-downs are ready before any membrane is applied.
Preparing and priming so the membrane bonds correctly to the specific substrate on site.
Bond breakers, reinforcement and detailing at junctions, penetrations, upstands and thresholds.
Applying wet area, external and below-ground systems as required across the project.
Allowing correct cure and advising on protection so following trades do not damage the membrane.
Waterproofing scheduled and delivered around the trades either side of it.
Correct preparation and detailing during construction reduces callbacks after handover.
Wet areas, external areas and below-ground waterproofing handled by one contractor.
Direct communication with site supervisors and project managers.
If any of these sound familiar, it is worth having the area assessed before the damage spreads further.
